Ysgol Penygloddfa Joins the Ocean Trawler Challenge!

We are thrilled to announce that Ysgol Penygloddfa is teaming up with the British Ironworks Centre to take part in the exciting Ocean Trawler Challenge!

This fantastic initiative is all about raising awareness of plastic pollution and encouraging communities to come together to make a real difference. At Ysgol Penygloddfa, we’re proud to play our part in protecting our oceans by committing to recycle as much as possible and reduce our plastic waste.

Throughout the challenge, our pupils will be learning about the impact of pollution on marine life, while also taking practical steps to help—whether that’s through collecting recyclable materials, making eco-friendly choices, or inspiring others in our local community to get involved.

Together, we’re showing that even small actions can make big waves!
